Bio

JR Hession has been performing music most of his life. He has founded and co-founded many musical combos throughout his career, most recently Wind and Stone, an acoustic quartet playing a diverse set list of blues, jazz, Americana and acoustic rock. This past year he has decided to do more solo work.

JR has taught guitar for many years and brings a diversity and warmth to his musical stylings that allows listeners to enjoy their environment without being overwhelmed by the music. JR plays acoustic guitar and sings.

JR now lives in Hudson Valley after retiring from his career as a high  school counselor.
